Golf must have been a lot more complicated for Bryson DeChambeau nearly a decade ago, when his mind ran through nine calculations before every shot – from the obvious (yardage and wind) to the scientific (air density and dew point).
Now he apparently only talks to twins to find solutions.
He stated this after the recent LIV golf event in South Korea when it wasn’t enough to get it out of the dirt.
“I’ve spent a lot of hours on the range trying to figure a few things out, and I talked to the AI quite a bit last night going through different physics principles that make the club spin, with some alpha and gamma torque,” DeChambeau said Sunday.
“I asked myself, ‘What is causing this to happen?’ And it was all about grip pressure and tension.
He finished with a 65 and finished in third place, one shot outside of the playoffs.
