If the reaction to Broadcom’s (NASDAQ:AVGO) Q3 earnings report is any indication, many investors (and professional money managers) still don’t understand the company’s long-term strategy and its primary investment thesis. As a result, they appear to have been expecting a significant “AI boost” to Q3 results (and Q4) and, apparently, were disappointed when it did not live up to their lofty expectations.
