NEW DELHI: Broadcom on Tuesday launched the VMware Telco Cloud Platform 9 for telecom data centers, to support operators’ sovereign cloud and AI services.
Broadcom said that the VMware Telco Cloud Platform is evolving to support both 4G and 5G Core network functions and data-intensive AI workloads, adding that the latest software iteration will enable telcos to monetise various AI applications, including private AI-as-a-Service, GPU virtualisation, GPU-as-a-Service, automated lifecycle management, and agent builder servicers, among others.
