Broadcom (AVGO) CEO Hock Tan believes the delay in the closure of its $69 billion purchase of VMware (NYSE:VMW) is due to bureaucratic reasons, not political issues. VMware (VMW) fell 1.6%, while Broadcom rose 1.3%.
“Mr. Tan does believe it’s bureaucratic and not political,” CNBC’s David Faber said on the business network on Monday.
