DEDHAM — Around the time when Ana Walshe went missing, her husband, Brian, allegedly sought out an article titled “10 ways to dispose of a body if you really need to.” Later that morning, he allegedly accessed a YouTube video about cleaning up a dead body, and researched a serial killer infamous for disposing of his victims in trash bags.
The next day, according to investigators, the searches continued: “How to saw a body,” then “Hack saw — the best tool for dismembering a body,” “can you be charged with murder without a body,” and “disposing of a body in the trash.”
That’s what a jury in Norfolk Superior Court heard on Tuesday, the second day of Brian Walshe’s trial. The Cohasset man is charged with first-degree murder, accused of killing and dismembering his 39-year-old wife, Ana, in the early morning of Jan. 1, 2023, before throwing her remains into dumpsters.
