Brazil’s Petrobras has at least four ongoing tenders for software and cloud platforms, with bid openings scheduled for the coming weeks.

Among the tenders, notable processes include the procurement of workflow execution software, data virtualization and video on demand, as well as associated services.

In the case of purchasing software for executing workflows and complementary services, the state-owned company is seeking a license to use it in the Software as a Service (SaaS) model. Proposals may be submitted until December 22.

According to Petrobras, the contracted party must provide the right to use licenses and ensure access to all software functionalities, with no limit on users. The selected company will be responsible for providing updates, innovations, and corrections of failures and vulnerabilities.

The software must allow the registration and maintenance of master data for vehicles, media, suppliers, clients, placements, costs, commissions, taxes, and other data necessary for the execution and monitoring of projects, including media plans, production, campaigns, and actions. All data, metadata, information, and knowledge, including replication and backups, must reside in Brazilian territory.

More information about this process can be found on the Petronect purchasing platform, as Opportunity 7004521417.

In the case of the virtualization software, Petrobras is seeking licenses and services for the Spotfire Data Virtualization platform.
