Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates feels that every major technology company starting from chip makers like Nvidia to datacenter operators and other startups are grappling with the same pressing concern: whether there is an AI bubble in the world as billion of dollars are pouring into artificial intelligence. In an interview with CNBC, Gates acknowledged that the AI frenzy does resemble a bubble, but stressed it is fundamental different from historical speculative manias such as 17th-century tulip mania. “They were just tulips,” Gates said of the Dutch craze.
