Beyah appointed Dean of the College of Engineering

Raheem Beyah has been elected as the new dean of Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering. Beyah is currently vice president of interdisciplinary research at Georgia Tech, executive director of the online Master of Science program in cybersecurity, and a Motorola Foundation professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Tech. He will take up his post as dean on January 15th. Beyah replaces Steven McLaughlin in this position. McLaughlin assumed his duties as Provost and Executive Vice President, Academic Affairs for Georgia Tech on October 1, 2020.
