Bangladesh publishes a national report to assess AI readiness as a guide

Dhaka, November 20, 2025 – The first national RAM (Artificial Intelligence Readiness Assessment) report was released today. A milestone to guide how the country adopts AI in a way that protects rights, promotes inclusion and strengthens public institutions. The report was launched at the Bangladesh Computer Council Auditorium at ICT Tower in Dhaka at an event jointly organized by the ICT Department, a2i, UNESCO and UNDP Bangladesh. The opening was attended by high-level representatives from governments, development partners, UN organizations, academia, the private sector and civil society.
