Azure is spreading its wings at Build 2021

Last week, Microsoft’s annual developer conference, Build, took place. In this article, I’m going to cover two main topics that I think will affect more IT folks than just developers, and I mention a few other releases that you should keep an eye on.

These are my key takeaways, and by no means a complete coverage of all of the features and services announced – here it is Build 2021 Book of News if you are looking for that.

Azure blue everywhere
The most interesting development that was revealed at Build is that Azure App Service (a PaaS platform for running websites, mobile application back ends and APIs), functions, logic apps, API management and Event Grid on each (CNCF compliant) Kubernetes clusters – everywhere.
