AApple, Google and Amazon have made one thing clear in the last two weeks: They don’t play Parler games.

After the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, the trio – some of the most powerful and influential companies in the world and among the five largest US companies by market capitalization – quickly launched Parler, an emerging social media platform that became one has become and has been reportedly used by many Capitol insurgents from the App Store, Google Play Store, and Amazon Web Services or AWS. Parler, the technology giants argued, had not done enough to moderate or police content posted there, in violation of their various terms of use.
