AWS launches Amazon OpenSearch Serverless in South America (Sao Paulo) region.

Amazon has announced the availability of Amazon OpenSearch Serverless in the South America (Sao Paulo) region. This new serverless deployment option for Amazon OpenSearch Service simplifies the process of running search and analytics workloads without the need for managing infrastructure. OpenSearch Serverless automatically handles resource provisioning and scaling to ensure fast data ingestion rates and millisecond response times, even during changing usage patterns and application demand.

With this expansion to the South America (Sao Paulo) region, OpenSearch Serverless is now available in a total of 12 regions globally, including US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), Europe West (Paris), Europe West (London), Asia Pacific South (Mumbai), and now South America (Sao Paulo).
