Amazon Web Services (AWS) on October 1 announced a preview of “AWS Well-Architected Agent,” an AI service that analyzes enterprise cloud environments and proposes improvements from the perspectives of cost, security, performance, and resilience. Targeting more than 65 AWS services, the agent presents recommendations with quantified monetary impact while bundling executable remediation steps such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) fixes and CLI commands.
AWS positions this new service as the next-generation successor to its existing “AWS Trusted Advisor” and “AWS Well-Architected Tool.” According to the company’s official blog, the agent possesses “capabilities comparable to an experienced cloud architect” and “replaces flat, undifferentiated lists of findings with prioritized recommendations tailored to the situation.”
