Amazon Web Services Inc. caters to financial analysts with a new, purpose-built data analysis tool that enables them to do their jobs much more effectively than before.
Amazon FinSpace is a new service announced today that can aggregate, catalog, and then tag data from multiple sources so that it is more easily searchable by anyone in the customer’s organization.
The tool is aimed at analysts from hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies and the like. This allows them to easily perform analysis on whatever data they have access to, including internal sources such as portfolio management systems, order management systems, and execution management systems, as well as third-party data feeds such as high-volume historical stock price data, employment figures, and earnings reports.
