Australia to construct undisclosed data centers in collaboration with Amazon

Australia has announced a $1.35 billion deal with Amazon to build secure data centers for top-secret information, boosting its military’s combat capability. The data centers will be located in secret locations and run by an Australian subsidiary of Amazon Web Services as part of Australia’s National Defence Strategy. This initiative aims to enhance the country’s Indo-Pacific security and commitment to a rules-based global order.
