Atlassian freezes hiring due to global software sell-off

Australian software giant Atlassian has stopped hiring engineers and filling other related positions and scaled back its global recruiting as its shares suffer from the impact of artificial intelligence.

Applicants in the final stages of interviews with the Mike Cannon-Brookes-led company say they have been left in the lurch since the hiring freeze was implemented in early February.
