ASUS Unveils Latest AI Servers at Computex 2024

During Computex 2024, ASUS showcased a variety of AI servers, including NVIDIA Blackwell servers such as B100, B200, and GB200 servers, as well as AMD MI300X servers. They also displayed Intel Xeon 6 servers and AMD EPYC Turin servers with a CPU TDP of up to 500W.

One of the standout products was the ASUS ESC NM2-E1, featuring dual NVIDIA Grace Hopper GH200 platforms for Arm computing and NVIDIA GPUs. The ASUS ESC NM1-E1 was also revealed, a single-node 2U server with NVIDIA GH200.

For traditional 8-way GPU computing, ASUS introduced the ESC N8-E11 platform in both NVIDIA H200 and upcoming B100 variants. The company’s design ethos was praised for its efficiency and practicality.

Moving on to CPU computing, ASUS unveiled the RS700-E12-RS12U 1U 12-bay platform with two Intel Xeon 6 sockets and DDR5 support. The RS720-E12-RS24U, a 2U version, was also presented. In terms of AMD offerings, ASUS displayed the RS700A-E13-RS4U and RS720A-E13-RS24U servers supporting next-generation 500W AMD EPYC SP5 socket parts.

The AMD Turin platform was discussed, revealing plans to use the SP5 socket and increase TDPs up to 500W in the next generation. Overall, Computex 2024 showcased a range of cutting-edge servers aimed at AI applications, with a focus on new CPU and GPU offerings from Intel and AMD.
