ASUS is taking pre-orders for two ProArt laptops built on Nvidia’s RTX Spark chip, and the cheapest costs $2,599.99 in the US. Both models ship on October 16. They run Windows on an Arm processor and can run AI models with up to 120 billion parameters without the cloud. That matters if you pay for AI tools by the month, but the price is steep.
The laptops arrive right after Surface Laptop Ultra: $2,599 Windows laptop with Nvidia’s RTX Spark chip, which uses the same chip. ASUS first showed them at Computex in June, according to Gizmochina.

The chip
RTX Spark pairs an Nvidia Grace processor (up to 20 cores) with a Blackwell graphics chip (up to 6,144 CUDA cores). Both share up to 128GB of memory, which avoids the slow copying between separate CPU and GPU memory in most PCs. ASUS claims up to 1 petaflop of AI performance at FP4, a low-precision format used for AI work. Nvidia’s earlier RTX Spark announcement covers the platform in more detail.
ASUS says this lets creators render 3D scenes, edit 12K video and run generative AI offline, with files staying on the machine.
The hardware
The P16 is 12.9mm thick, weighs 1.77kg and has a 99.9Wh battery and a 4K screen with G-Sync….
