IDeaS recently announced a successful integration of almost 2,000 properties with Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform, connecting its RMS solutions, including IDeaS G3 RMS, to Oracle’s OPERA Cloud via OHIP and Oracle Cloud Marketplace. The move was designed to address the hospitality industry’s need for faster data exchanges and increased capabilities to manage growing data volumes.
Klaus Kohlmayr, chief evangelist and development director of IDeaS, emphasized the significance of OHIP in accelerating data exchange and streamlining the transmission of the 12 billion pricing decisions that IDeaS handles each day. This integration is expected to enable faster innovation and unlock the full potential of data-driven revenue management, empowering hoteliers to make smarter decisions and achieve optimal results.
The collaboration between IDeaS and Oracle is supported by a shared customer base of nearly 10,000 clients, with IDeaS adding 50 to 100 hotels per week to its network. By leveraging Oracle Cloud Marketplace, IDeaS can access cutting-edge hospitality software and services, enabling them to scale implementations and simplify their support model.
In addition to the integration announcement, IDeaS introduced G3 RMS Portfolio Navigator in March, a tool designed to automate revenue management for multiple properties. This innovative solution uses data analysis to identify revenue opportunities and facilitate rapid responses to changing market trends.
Founded in 1989, IDeaS is led by co-founders Ravi Mehrotra and Sanjay Nagalia, who serve as President and Chief Scientist, and Chief Operating and Technology Officer, respectively. As a SAS company specializing in hotel revenue management software, IDeaS continues to push the boundaries of innovation in the hospitality industry, providing solutions that help hoteliers optimize their revenue strategies in an ever-evolving market landscape.
