Amazon Web Services (AWS) CEO Matt Garman is not worried about the ‘SaaSpocalypse’ that many say may bring the demise of several software due to advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) models. Instead, he sees this as a “huge business opportunity” for the e-commerce giant, as the company deepens its software-as-a-service (SaaS) and AI-driven applications for everyday users.In an interview with Fortune, Garman said the shift is driven by the rise of agentic AI, which is reshaping how work gets done.
