Microsoft recently announced that the company is rolling out its Copilot 365 AI assistant to roughly 743,000 Accenture employees. This is the biggest enterprise ‌deal for Microsoft’s chatbot as Microsoft seeks to convert more of its vast customer base into paying users. The deal is seen as a major boost for Microsoft as just a little more than 3% of its over 450 million 365 enterprise users pay for the $30-a-month offering. The Copilot adoption reportedly builds on Accenture’s plan to offer Copilot to as many as 300,000 employees. In the past few months, Accenture has emerged as one of the most aggressive corporate adopters of AI, even reportedly tying top-level promotions to AI usage among employees.In a joint media statement, Accenture said that the initial Copilot deployment has paid off.
