Arrow Lake-S, Arrow Lake-HX, and Arrow Lake-H set to be released by Intel in Q4 of 2024.

Intel has announced the launch of its next-generation Arrow Lake-S, Arrow Lake-HX, and Arrow Lake-H CPUs for Desktops and laptops in the fourth quarter of 2024. These chips are expected to be performance-oriented and showcase Intel’s commitment to developing its desktop and laptop roadmap. The Arrow Lake range will include three variations – Arrow Lake-S, Arrow Lake-HX, and Arrow Lake-H – with an official debut expected at Computex 2024.

The Arrow Lake-S “Core Ultra 200” desktop CPU is said to have a monolithic design that integrates CPU, GPU, SOC, and IO. It will feature a 8+16 design with 16 E-Cores and 8 P-Cores. The GPU will have 2 or 4 Xe cores using the Xe-LPG “Alchemist” graphics architecture. Intel plans to release at least 13 SKUs in the Arrow Lake-S lineup, including unlocked ‘K’ series chips and Non-K CPU family. These CPUs will be compatible with DDR5 memory and use the LGA 1851 socket featured in the latest 800 series motherboards. Additionally, Intel will increase PCIe Gen 5.0 lanes across the CPU and PCH.

The Arrow Lake-S series will not support DDR4 memory and will only be compatible with DDR5. It will feature 3 MB L2 cache per P core, an alchemist iGPU, and offer 8+16 and 6+8 CPU SKUs. The series is expected to launch in Q4 2024.

Furthermore, Intel plans to release the Arrow Lake-HX and Arrow Lake-H CPUs in early 2025, possibly due to the launch of Nvidia’s Blackwell RTX 50 GPUs. These CPUs will cater to different market segments and provide users with more options.

In summary, Intel’s next-generation Arrow Lake CPUs are expected to bring enhanced performance and features to desktops and laptops. The Arrow Lake-S series will offer a range of SKUs with advanced capabilities, including support for DDR5 memory and increased PCIe lanes. The official debut of the Arrow Lake range is anticipated at Computex 2024, with products launching in Q4 2024 and early 2025. Intel’s roadmap for desktop and laptop CPUs is shaping up to be competitive and innovative, showcasing the brand’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology to consumers.
