The USA Army’s new software factory in Texas accelerates software development through cloud computing, reported C4ISRnet on Thursday.
According to Capt. James Cho, the product manager of the platform platform, allows users to use more computing power as needed with the help of cloud technology. Military leaders have expressed an interest in using cloud computing to accelerate software delivery and maximize cost-effectiveness, the report said.
The Department of Defense wants to use the cloud as a software production suite that gives developers access to the tools and resources they need for cybersecurity and quality assurance testing.
According to Cho, the technology reduces the workload required to scale software applications and deploy them across the service.
