Arista Networks is in the process of acquiring VeloCloud, a Broadcom business unit that sells networking software and hardware to customers such as telecommunications service providers, according to a person with direct knowledge of the deal.
The acquisition price couldn’t be learned but it is likely less than $1 billion, given the unit was generating about $300 million in annual recurring revenue as of the end of October 2024, this person said.
