On a quiet afternoon a few years ago, Dubai restaurateur Ahmet Oytun Cakir sat in his office pondering inspiration for a menu. Then the hotel veteran, whose empire includes popular hangouts BohoX and Rove, had an idea: He would turn to ChatGPT.

Seconds later, the newly released chatbot delivered a recipe for seasoned lamb. Cakir decided to give it a try. “It was unbelievable. Amazing,” he remembers. “We immediately took the photo and put it on the menu. It became a bestseller.”
