Apple Music soon started teasing a special announcement on the main Browse tab in the music application.

The teaser comes as Apple allegedly announces a new layer of lossless audio for its music subscription service, possibly with improved 3D music from Spatial Audio.

We have already heard rumors Apple planned the imminent introduction of a new level of hi-fi music, possibly along with new AirPods on May 18th.

The beta Android version of Apple Music something tipped his hat on the newsThe app supports support for lossless music streaming at 24 bit / 48 kHz and 24 bit / 192 kHz. References to Dolby Audio were also discovered in early iOS 14.6 betas.

HiFi layers are now very popular features of other music streaming services such as Deezer and Tidal. Spotify is also preparing to introduce a higher quality tier. Typically, these third-party services offer the lossless plan as a more expensive premium option. However, a report stated that Apple Music would offer the HiFi service at no additional cost.

Clicking the teaser in Apple Music will play a short animation of the Apple Music logo. Apple has not yet officially announced when the new initiatives will be announced. Based on the rumor mill, we should expect an official reveal on Tuesday.
