APK teardown suggests potential removal of bottom bar in Google Tasks

Google Tasks is making a change by replacing the bottom bar with a floating action button (FAB). This new FAB is currently not operational and may not necessarily be included in a public release. The FAB allows users to create new tasks with a tap, and other functions previously found in the bottom bar have been moved elsewhere in the app. This change is primarily for aesthetic reasons, aiming for a cleaner UI. It is unclear when or if Google will officially implement this new FAB. Share your thoughts or tips with the Android Authority team via email at news@androidauthority.com.
