Patna, July 9, 2021, 2:26 p.m., Jeff Bezos, the richest man in the world and CEO of Amazon, has resigned and will be replaced by Andy Jassy, the head of Amazon Web Services.
Jassy, 53, will now take over from Bezos and the former Amazon CEO will continue to serve as executive chairman of the company.
That being said, Jeff Bezos is Amazon’s largest shareholder and founded the company in 1994.

Jassy faces a major challenge in taking over from Bezos as CEO of the expanding company.
As CEO, he is responsible not only for increasing the profit of the e-commerce platform but also for improving the market position.
Workers at the corporation have recently complained of pressure and low wages, and Amazon has also been accused of unfair business practices in countries like India.
