American Express now supported on Google Wallet for Fitbit

The latest update from Google has replaced Fitbit Pay with Google Wallet, with American Express card support now available. Previously, Fitbit users were unable to use American Express cards with Google Wallet, but this has been resolved with the latest Play services update on Android devices. Google also addressed an issue that iOS users faced when trying to pay from their Fitbit watch with Visa cards saved in Google Wallet, requiring affected cards to be removed and re-added to the app. Google Wallet is now compatible with various Fitbit models including Charge 4, Charge 5, Charge 6, Sense, Versa 2, Versa 3, and special editions of Charge 3 and Versa. Users can access Google Wallet on their Fitbit device by selecting the Wallet tile in the Fitbit app settings on both Android and iOS platforms. The recent Play services update also introduced new features for Wallet, allowing users to add e-wallets as payment methods, manage IDs within the app, and utilize Pix as a payment method. This update is still rolling out to users.
