AMD recently launched a Midnight Black variant from AMD Radeon RX 6800XT Graphic card. As the name suggests, the new color option sees the card in an almost exclusively black motif with red and silver accents.
Evidence of the card’s existence was communicated to the members of the AMD Red Team through a special notice. Aside from the different color scheme, however, everything else about the card seems to stay the same. Like the standard 6800XT, its Navi 21 XT GPU is still based on the RDNA2 architecture, has 4608 stream processors, is equipped with 16 GB of GDDR6 graphics memory and has the same 128 MB Infinity cache.
In terms of price, the card went on sale not long ago and costs the same as a standard 6800XT for $ 649 (~ RM2685). Unfortunately the card is already sold out. So if you are planning on snapping up a Midnight Black edition, you may be out of luck. In addition, there is no word from AMD as to whether this sale will be a one-time affair or whether a replenishment of the card is planned.
However, given the nature of most Special Edition products, it is possible that the former scenario applies here.
