AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) is doubling its commitment to large artificial intelligence systemsexpanding its partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (New York Stock Exchange: HPE) to build an open rack-scale infrastructure aimed at large AI workloads and sovereign AI projects.
As part of the agreement, HPE becomes one of the first companies to adopt AMD’s new Helios architecture. It will combine the platform with a custom Juniper Networking switch built together with Broadcom, making it easier for customers to deploy massive AI clusters without relying on closed, proprietary configurations.
Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, said Helios brings together the company’s entire computing stack with HPE system design to deliver better performance and efficiency. Antonio Neri, CEO of HPE, added that customers should see faster deployments, more flexibility and lower risk as they scale AI operations.
