Insider has learned that Amazon Web Services is losing another key executive, leaving another leadership void in the company’s efforts to break into the lucrative enterprise software market, commonly known as Software as a Service, or SaaS.
That manager, Amazon’s VP of Productivity Applications Peter Hill, will be leaving the company less than a year after his predecessor Larry Augustin stepped down, according to people familiar with the matter. Hill’s team oversaw a number of AWS software products, including the Connect call center service, the Chime video conferencing tool, and the WorkMail email app.
