Cloud service provider Amazon Web Services, Inc. has launched the AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) Region, its second launch of its kind, to expand services to customers in India.

By 2030, the company is estimated to provide $4.4 billion (approx.) in services from regional businesses. The new region is also expected to support more than 48,000 full-time positions at outside companies annually during this period.

The jobs will be part of the AWS supply chain in India, including construction, facility maintenance, engineering, telecom and jobs in the country’s broader economy, Amazon said Nov. 22.
