Hyderabad gets India’s second infrastructure region for Amazon Web Services
On Tuesday, Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced the launch of its second AWS infrastructure region in Hyderabad, India, which will support more than 48,000 full-time positions annually by a planned investment of more than $4.4 billion (Rs 36,300 crore) in the country by 2030.
The second AWS region in India provides customers with More options to run workloads with even greater resiliency and availability, store data securely in India, and even serve end users with lower latency.
The company said that the construction and operation of the AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) region is estimated to add about $7.6 billion (Rs.63,600 crore) to India’s Gross Domestic Product by 2030 Statement.
