Amazon Web Services (AWS) increases support for federal political campaigns and committees with low-to-no cost security services

Cybersecurity is crucial for democratic campaigns and elections, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is working with Defend Digital Campaigns (DDC) to provide over 20 cybersecurity services at low or no cost to national party committees and federal candidate campaigns. The collaboration began in 2020 and has expanded to include more services for the 2024 cycle. Eligible campaigns can now use AWS Wickr for encrypted messaging and other services like AWS Audit Manager, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS Security Center. DDC recommends using encrypted messages to protect sensitive information and increase security posture. AWS and DDC are dedicated to providing leading security services for all campaigns, regardless of party affiliation. If your campaign is interested, you can register for the program or contact AWS for more information.
