Amazon announced the general availability of Lookout for Metrics, a service that uses machine learning to automatically detect and diagnose anomalies in business and operational data. It was first previewed at re: Invent 2020 in December last year. Most Amazon Web Services customers can now access Lookout for Metrics.

Lookout for Metrics automatically checks various cases, such as: For example, sudden drops in sales, customer acquisition rates, website views, active users, high transaction volume rates for abandoned shopping carts, and mobile app installs. With just a few clicks, AWS customers can connect Amazon Lookout for Metrics to popular data stores like Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift and Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) as well as third-party SaaS applications like Salesforce, Servicenow and Zendesk and Marketo and start monitoring Key figures that are important for your company.
