Amazon AMZN, Alphabet’s Google GOOGL and Intel INTC are joining a technology-led education initiative backed by First Lady Melania Trump, with participating companies committing more than $23 million in resources, tools and expertise to expand access to artificial intelligence education worldwide. The agreements highlight another avenue for major technology companies to introduce their AI products to students and educators as competition for adoption intensifies.
The White House said Wednesday that Adobe ADBE, Amazon, Google, Intel, SpaceX’s Starlink SPCX and Zoom (ZM) are participating through new private-sector partnerships under the Fostering the Future Together initiative.
The commitments combine financial support, technology access and educational resources rather than representing exclusively direct cash contributions.
Among the largest initiatives, Amazon plans to expand free access to its Kiro AI coding assistant, targeting 5 million students across 132 universities.
