Amazon EMR Studio is now available in the Asia Pacific (Melbourne) and Israel (Tel Aviv) regions, allowing users to run interactive workloads in EMR. EMR Studio is an integrated development environment that helps data scientists and engineers develop, visualize, and debug big data and analytics applications in PySpark, Python, Scala, and R. The IDE provides fully managed Jupyter Notebooks and tools like Spark UI and YARN Timeline Service for easier debugging. Users can also enable single sign-on using AWS IAM Identity Center, allowing them to sign in directly with corporate credentials without logging into the AWS console.
