Amazon ranks India as one of its largest markets and recently shifted its focus to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs) in the country. 24 hours after the e-commerce giant announced Amazon’s cloud computing division, Amazon Web Services (AWS), is a $ 250 million venture fund that invests in Indian startups and entrepreneurs. She announced the launch of Amazon Digital Suite, an affordable software suite for digitizing Indian SMEs and supporting them online.

The Amazon Digital Suite contains a range of curated software solutions and offers a selection of enterprise software from seven domestic AWS partners in areas such as accounting, customer support and human resources. This move should bring the company closer to its goal of digitizing 10 million Indian SMEs by 2025. Amazon has already digitized around 2.5 million SMEs and so far enabled exports from India worth 3 billion US dollars.
