AmazonAMZN’s AMZN cloud computing arm – Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) – is continuing to expand its service offerings in order to maintain its cloud dominance.
This comes from the latest announcement of a managed wide area network (WAN) service, namely AWS Cloud WAN.
With the help of a central dashboard, the new service supports the seamless construction, management, operation and monitoring of a global network.
The service enables a robust connection between on-site data centers, branch offices and cloud resources. It also connects Amazon Virtual Private Clouds over the global AWS network.
AWS Cloud WAN prevents organizations from individually configuring and managing different networks by allowing them to use simple network policies for the same purpose.
