Google’s parent company, Alphabet, has seen a significant turnaround in its financial performance after a drop in net profit in 2022. In the first quarter of this year, Alphabet earned $3,042 per second, showing a 43 percent increase compared to the previous year. The company’s net income has surged by 615 percent in the past decade, outpacing Apple and Microsoft.

Despite layoffs and job cuts, Alphabet’s net income for the first quarter of 2024 reached $23.6 billion, a 57 percent increase from the same period in the previous year. The company has also added $430 billion to its stock value this year, with its market capitalization hitting $2.19 trillion.

Alphabet’s market performance has outpaced Amazon, Microsoft, and Meta during this period. The company’s growth trajectory is impressive, considering the challenges it faced in 2022.
