The Galaxy Buds 2 will be available in four launch color options – green, purple, white, and black – and there could be additional hues like yellow added later to increase sales interest. Here are the Galaxy Buds 2 design and color versions in the usual breathtaking attention to detail that we expect from Mr. Blass.
The Galaxy Buds 2 are a direct legacy of the OG Galaxy Buds and not offshoots like the Buds Plus, Buds Live or the Buds Pro. Judging by the abundant mic setup on every bud we see here, it will active noise cancellation on the Galaxy Buds 2 actually, and that’s the biggest difference to the OG Buds.
The Galaxy Buds 2 will have Bluetooth LE connectivity, and the matching charging case (model number EP-QR177) pictured here has a 500mAh battery, while the Buds 2 will add 120mAh to the mix that comes in the charging case.
You will need it as ANC usually involves additional battery drain. For comparison, while the OG Buds had the same pack at around 60 mAh per bud, their case has a much smaller battery at 252 mAh.
