Australia’s largest cybersecurity company has issued an urgent warning about a powerful new artificial intelligence tool that can find and exploit software vulnerabilities at unprecedented speed and scale, and which experts fear could trigger the next wave of major data breaches.

CyberCX told Australian companies, banks and infrastructure operators on Thursday they had a window of opportunity to strengthen their defenses before the technology or copies of it end up in the hands of criminals.
