Digii and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have joined forces to introduce a new generative artificial intelligence tool called DigiiAI in more than 20 educational institutions across India. The aim is to utilize AI technology to streamline administrative tasks, enhance classroom management, and provide customized support to educators.
Several prestigious Indian universities including Manipal Academy of BFSI, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Bangalore, Chanakya University, Apollo University, and Techno India University have been chosen for the initial launch of DigiiAI. This innovative tool developed by the Bengaluru-based SaaS company will help teachers save time by automating tasks such as attendance taking, class scheduling, course documentation, student performance tracking, assessment creation, and grading.
With the use of DigiiAI, educators can simplify the process of building assessments. Teachers have the option to select Bloom’s Taxonomy levels to generate questions that align with their desired learning outcomes, using various question formats like fill-in-the-blank and multiple-choice questions.
DigiiAI operates on AWS’s generative artificial intelligence technology, which offers access to a range of foundational AI models with different capabilities. The collaboration between Digii and AWS allows for the effective utilization of multiple AI models, resulting in a robust and scalable solution that enriches the teaching experience for faculty members. Founder and CEO of Digii, Hemant Sahal, expressed excitement about expanding the AI tool’s capabilities in the future, aiming to assess responses to subjective questions and provide adaptive assessments to students during self-practice tests.
