KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Sgt. Josh Lester with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says they are issuing an urgent warning to citizens after a recent case in the county resulted in a resident losing more than $40,000.
“It’s actually totaled over 43,000 dollars and that particular victim, of course, they’re devastated, and you know at this point, it comes down to a point now they are like how could I fall for this?”
In this case, the scammer impersonated a law enforcement…
