The workplace arbitrator has warned that the rise in claims driven by artificial intelligence has become so relentless that it is hindering every aspect of his work, including key decisions on gender pay and the gig economy, and has forced an overhaul of internal processes to cope.
Fair Work Commission director-general Murray Furlong intervened in the claims crisis on Friday, ordering a review of the commission’s rules on unfair dismissals and sexual harassment.
