AI kiosks “Eyebot” aims to ease doctor shortage, offer affordable vision tests

BOSTON, Mass. — Artificial intelligence is making strides in the healthcare sector with the introduction of Eyebot kiosks, designed to provide quick and affordable vision tests without a trip to the eye doctor. Matthias Hoffman, CEO and co-founder of Eyebot, explained the technology’s purpose. “We’re a technology that allows people to simply walk up to our vision testing kiosks, and it automatically, in about 90 seconds, does a full vision test,” Hoffman said.
