AI is moving into the enterprise-scale deployment phase

As artificial intelligence moves beyond early experiments in China, companies are entering a new phase where scalability, governance and measurable business value become key concerns, a senior technology executive said.

“In the past two years, AI in China has progressed from concepts to intensive pilot programs,” said Liu Lifang, solutions engineering director at Cloudera Greater China, adding that many companies have completed their initial explorations of the technology, whether it is large language models, agent AI or automation applications.

“As we look to 2026, AI is entering a new phase – moving from pilot projects to enterprise-scale deployment,” Liu said.
