Global artificial intelligence giant Anthropic has joined the Albanian government’s AI plan to attract big tech companies to Australia, saying it will invest in renewable energy to power data centers while also investing $3 million in medical research at several universities.
Dario Amodei, the chief executive of Anthropic, which owns AI agent Claude, met with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Industry Minister Tim Ayres in Canberra on Wednesday morning to sign a memorandum of understanding between the $380 billion tech giant and the government.
