With Christmas and New Years in retrospect, speed running enthusiasts are looking forward to a completely different type of winter event: Awesome Games Done Quick. The annual speed running marathon returns this weekend, and although AGDQ will only be online again in 2022, the event still offers a whole week of speed runs to watch. Here’s where and when to tune in to see AGDQ 2022, along with some speedruns we’re looking forward to.

AGDQ 2022 start time, where to see and donation information

Awesome Games Done Quick 2022 starts on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 12 p.m. EST. The show will be broadcast live Games Done Quick Twitch Channel, but if you tune in at 11:30 am EST, you can catch the pre-show with some familiar Games Done Quick faces. They’ll talk about the runs they’re looking forward to and highlight some of the more unique runs that are worth seeing, in addition to spicing up the event in general.

The full Schedule for AGDQ 2022 can be found on the Games Done Quick website. This will automatically show each Speedrun start time for your local time zone, making it easy for you to find out when to tune in for certain runs. The schedule is also updated when the bonus run incentives are met and when runs and facility blocks fall below or exceed their estimate. Although it is not always accurate to the minute, it is running out.

As always, the money donated during Awesome Games Done Quick 2022 will go to the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Additionally, by donating during Awesome Games Done Quick you can win certain prizes that depend not only on when you donate, but also how much you contribute. You can view prices along with a list of incentive destinations on GDQs Donation tracker when the event is live (at the moment the donation tracker doesn’t seem to be fully updated).

Awesome Games Done Quick 2022 runs from January 9th until the wee hours of the morning on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Currently, the AGDQ 2022 finale is scheduled for January 16 at 12:13 PM EST, but that time will undoubtedly be different move back a little during the event. Speedruns will be broadcast around the clock during the event, so you can tune in at any time of the day for some sweet speedrun action.

AGDQ 2022 speed runs that you shouldn’t miss

When the AGDQ was first announced in 2022, We have listed a few speed runs that we were really looking forward to, so this time we’re going to name a different series of speed runs that are worth trying. On Sunday we will see an Any% race from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong’s Quest between four runners: V0oid, SBDWolf, Tonkotsu and Eazinn. Races are always exciting and worth taking some time for.

Games ready quickly

On Monday, ItzBytez will do an Any% run of the freshly published Psychonauts 2, which we named one of the best games of 2021; You can be sure that we will check it out. Tuesday brings us a “Fresh File Any%” Speedrun exclusively from PS5 return by Cavecavecave. So if you want to see the next generation of speed running, be sure to mark this on your calendar.

On Wednesday we get one sound Block with speed runs like Sonic R from Risuruuu and Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II Co-op of AmberCyprian and Argick while on Thursday one Castlevania Block with four different speed runs. Friday brings us in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Any% race between “true” and “waitab”, which is an estimated 3 hours and 15 minutes. After all, Saturday will bring us a blindfolded run in Mitchriz Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Yes, we said blindfolded.

A lot more runs are planned for Awesome Games Done Quick 2022, but these are just a few of the ones that caught our eye. AGDQ 2022 starts on Sunday. So if you plan on watching, I’ll see you in chat.
